Safety-first baseline

GrassGroups supports community organizing, but safety boundaries are non-negotiable. Content or behavior that creates credible risk of harm is removed or escalated immediately.

  • No credible threats, glorification of violence, or instructions for harm.
  • No grooming, exploitation, or unsafe contact involving minors.
  • No doxxing, stalking, or targeted harassment against individuals or groups.

Authenticity and trust

Users and organizations must act honestly. False affiliation claims, manipulated fundraising claims, or impersonation may result in immediate enforcement.

Moderator actions

GrassGroups may warn, limit, remove, or suspend content and accounts based on severity, repeat behavior, and legal obligations.

Emergency reports may be escalated outside the normal review queue when rapid intervention is necessary.

Organization-level rules

Organizations may publish additional local standards for their spaces, but those rules cannot weaken platform safety requirements or override law.
